I dwelt alone
On the other side of the sky vault,
Everyday as the sky was climbing
The darkening land in the west,
Forever with an unopened eye.
Blazing.
Shaking my mind and soul
With its white-hot radiance.
For now,
The night is senescent,
And is but a fragment
Of a dream within a dream
That steals me
Drowsily and musically,
With a lullaby sound.
It cries out
And extinguishes into a whisper
Around me,
I am left alone
Trembling from afar.
But then my thoughts pour out,
The truth is exposed.
A shadow dances
In the moonlight
All around me,
Singing.
My sorrow is awaken
But my loneliness is taken.
