Heart of the breath
And the sorrows of the cold stone.
Weighing light
As you have a gleam in your eye.
Soul and stone,
Sadder then water,
The night cries
For a necessary kindling.
It is a time between ashes and roses,
And a starry sky shines
Above the land.
On a wing of the sun,
Memory is no stranger.
At first light,
In a dark summer you run,
Race from the forbidden entries
Of stars and other signs.
The gold of the tigers.
